Cooking with Color Spring Show
For our Spring show the focus will be on making healthy dishes chock full of seasonal green,orange and yellow veggies and ingredients that celebrate the Spring season.
Some Ideas for Spring Produce
Yellow: bell peppers, lemons, pineapple, golden beets, squash, star fruit, yellow watermelon, yellow pears, golden apples (yellow apples), yellow corn, bananas (careful, they turn brown quickly), heirloom/yellow tomatoes, golden raisins, yellow onions
Orange: oranges, bell peppers, carrots, kumquats, cantaloupe, sweet potato, apricots, peaches/nectarines, grapefruit, butternut squash, papaya, persimmons, mango
Green: broccoli, kale, cucumber, celery, zucchini, lettuce, cabbage, limes, avocado, basil, parsley, artichoke, spinach, bell peppers, cilantro, rosemary, thyme, wheatgrass, honeydew melon, Granny Smith apples, green grapes
